Telangana Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj K.T. Rama Rao has been invited to participate in the fifth Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) being held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from March 30 to April 1.
In an invitation extended to Mr. Rama Rao, the ruler of Dubai and Vice-President of UAE Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum asked the former to take part in the event.
The summit would be held at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre and representatives of 140 countries are likely to attend the meeting.
Mr. Rama Rao was contacted by the UAE Embassy on Sunday to extend the invitation. According to the minister’s office, the annual meeting would focus on sustainable development through FDI induced innovation and technology transfer. Thanking the organisers for inviting him to the meet, Mr. Ram Rao said he would utilise the event to present the investment opportunities in Telangana before the representatives of 140 counties.
