Marion Cotillard in Two Days, One Night: Two Days, One Night is a remarkable story of a young wife and mother, played by Marion Cotillard. Marion Cotillard, who is known for slipping into the skin of the character, has once again delivered a marvellous performance in the film. Marion's performance has widely been appreciated everywhere. Marion Cotillard also received a five minute standing ovation, when the film was shown at the Cannes Film Festival 2014. The actress won hearts with the simplicity of her character in the film. She had also won the Academy Award for her performance in La Vie en rose.

Rosamund Pike in Gone Girl: Rosamund shocked and surprised her fans with her out-of-the-box character in the film. She played the role of 'Amy', a wife who stages her own kidnapping to take revenge from her husband. This twisted love story, coupled with her breathtaking act, leaves you speechless. Rosamund's dark yet intelligent character gave the film a sharp edge. She also has also won a number of awards for her performance in the film at various award ceremonies.

Julianne Moore in Still Alice: Still Alice is a touching story of Alice, a Columbia linguistics professor diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Julianne Moore's gripping performance leaves an impact on the audience. Considered as her best performance so far, the film has also been nominated at a number of award ceremonies. She has already won a BAFTA for her epic performance in the film.

Reese Witherspoon in Wild: Reese Witherspoon played the role of Cheryl who decides to hike more than a thousand miles of the Pacific Crest Trai alone. She undertakes the journey to heal herself following her divorce, and the death of her mother. The film opened to positive reviews and Reese won massive appreciation for her character. Her powerful and moving act shook the audience. She had also won an Academy Award forWalk the Line in 2006.

Felicity Jones in The Theory of Everything: Felicity Jones has once again impressed her fans with a brilliant performance in The Theory of Everything. Her moving performance as 'Jane Wilde', student and wife of Stephen Hawkings, is undoubtedly one of her strongest performances ever. In every frame, Felicity portrayed the commitment she had towards Stephen Jawkings. With her flawless performance, she surpassed everyone's expectations. The breathtaking plot coupled with her hard hitting act, made the film one of the must watch films of the year.
