The film managed to do good business on Monday as well
Sriram Raghavan’s Badlapur starring Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Yami Gautam, Huma Qureshi, Divya Dutta and Radhika Apte is doing great business at the box office. The revenge drama that hit screens on Friday (February 20), minted Rs 7 crore on the opening day despite an A certificate. Jr Dhawan’s film made Rs 8.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 8.25 crore on Sunday despite the big cricket battle between India and South Africa.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Badlapur is super-strong on Mon. Fri 7 cr, Sat 8.75 cr, Sun 8.25 cr, Mon 4.25 cr. Total: ₹ 28.25 cr. India biz. Fantastic!
Apart from making good money at the domestic box office, the film is also minting aboard. Adarsh tweeted, #Badlapur springs a pleasant surprise in the international markets. Grosses approx $ 1 million [₹ 6.23 cr] in its opng wknd. Very good!
Since there is no big film releasing anytime soon, we are sure, the film will easily surpass the Rs 50 crore mark. Keep watching this space for the box office collection of Badlapur.
